The Story of Our Flag
You are invited to enjoy a visit with “Betsy Ross,” as she tells her own story about the special day when George Washington came to her upholstery shop. As you learn about the symbols on our flag and why it looks the way it does, you’ll have an opportunity to participate in Betsy’s story – she’ll even share her secret for making a 5-pointed star! Twelve colonial flags will be displayed, as well as a hand-sewn flag.
